Cat5 Commerce CEO named 40 Under 40

Cat5 Commerce CEO Chad Weinman has been named to the St. Louis Business Journal‘s 2014 class of "40 Under 40." The list honors exemplary business leaders who have distinguished themselves in the St. Louis business community.

As the company’s CEO, Weinman is responsible for crafting and implementing the strategic vision of Cat5 Commerce. He has led his team to sustainable growth and increased profitability each year since the business’ founding.

Beginning his career as an IT consultant, Weinman soon switched to business owner; he launched his first online store, BDU.com, in 2004. This new beginning lay the foundation for Cat5 Commerce to evolve into a multi-million dollar Internet retail company. Since then, it has operated as many as 10 online storefronts, including TacticalGear.com and RunningShoes.com.
