The online retail company made the list of top St. Louis workplaces for 2016
Niche online retailer Cat5 Commerce was recognized as a Top Workplace of 2016 by the St. Louis Post-Dispatch. It was listed as no. 16 in the best small companies category.
The annual list of top workplaces is a partnership between St. Louis Post-Dispatch partners and WorkplaceDynamics, a survey firm based in Exton, Pa. The process began with St. Louis Post-Dispatch readers nominating local employers at the beginning of the year. Participants allowed WorkplaceDynamics to survey their employees.
“I can be myself,” said a Cat5 employee in the anonymous survey, “I’m surrounded by people who care about me and my well being, personally and professionally.”
More than 1,270 workplaces were invited to participate and the questionnaires garnered more than 38,000 responses. Employers were rated on seven different factors, including but not limited to health, effectiveness, values, cooperation and connection. Cat5 Commerce was recognized for its top-tier benefits package and extracurricular company events.
“It’s an honor to have been recognized, and we will continue to foster the best possible environment for our employees,” said Andrew Hoefener, president of Cat5 Commerce.
